 August 31th is written in all number as 8/31. In Japanese you can all it 野菜の日. It means that it's vegitable day. So we have to eat vegitables!!! 

When I was in the elementary school at August 31th we had a vegitable meel always. It tasted very good and everybody loved it. Our elementary school won the tournament witch chose the most dilicious lunch meel in Japan so I was always excited to eat lunch.
